Reese’s Peanut Butter Bars – 5 Ingredients!

Chocolate and peanut butter, you can’t go wrong with that combo, right?  I have been making these peanut butter bars that taste just like Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups for years but haven’t made them in a long time – until a few days ago.  I made these for a party and they were devoured within minutes, I forgot how great they taste!  These bars are easy to make and only take about 15-20 minutes.  Oh yeah, and you only need 5 ingredients!

Reese’s Peanut Butter Bars

Ingredients:
1 1/2 C. crushed graham crackers
1 stick butter, softened
1 1/2 C. peanut butter
3 1/4 C. powdered sugar
12 oz. chocolate chips

Mix the first four ingredients together and press flat into a cookie sheet.  I use a fork to press it down firmly.  Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and put in the oven at 350 degrees until the chips are soft enough to spread.  Spread the chocolate chips evenly over the peanut butter mixture.  Place pan in the fridge to set chocolate.  Before the chocolate is too hard, cut into 1×3 inch bars.

You know how some people put Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups in the freezer?  Well if you have never tried it, you should!  This is why I think these Reese’s Peanut Butter Bars taste better cold.
These taste absolutely the best when you eat them straight from the refrigerator.  Store in the fridge or even in the freezer for extra crisp and cool taste!  There is something about eating these when the chocolate on top of them is crisp and cold.
I don’t think there are many people out there that do not like Reese’s Peanut Butter cups!
If you like do like them,
Check out these Reese’s Peanut Butter Truffles I made for my neighbors for Christmas.  They are pretty darn good!
Enjoy!

When I made these the first time, I was living in Australia. There’s no such thing as a graham cracker there so I made them with shortbread cookies. So good! I tried them with graham crackers when I moved back to the states but they don’t taste as good, you should try them with shortbread crumbs!ReplyCancel

Hey, I'm Kami!

Welcome to the blog

Wife to my Jr. High sweetheart, mother to three daughters. I have always loved being social and staying connected with other people who have similar interests to me. I started a blog back in 2010 and have been in the social networking scene since then. I love meeting new people and helping them feel confident, and see their own beauty.
