Our playroom is one place in my house I never thought I would show the world. Most of the time, play food is scattered all over the floor, magnets are tossed around, and the room as a whole is a disaster. I recently got some really cute vinyl clouds
to add to the playroom wall and since putting them on, I was able to clean up and organize the playroom to show you all how cute the clouds look!
The clouds came from the cutest shop Landee on Etsy. My cute cousins Shelly and Landee run this shop. There are a ton of darling vinyl decals that you need to check out. These clouds were so easy to put on and the good thing about them is that they come right off too! You should check out what other fun things they have HERE
When I posted a sneak peek picture on my Instagram, somebody commented that the wall reminded them of Andy’s room from Toy Story and I couldn’t agree more! The vinyl clouds give the room such a happy and bright feel!
Since I have never shown you our playroom I thought I would show you some of the details that we’ve done. This playroom is in our downstairs and was really supposed to be a storage room. We wanted a place to put the girls’ play kitchen and a few toys so we had them cut a window in the wall and a little door.
We added some curtains in the window put our kitchen {Kidkraft} in there. In the kitchen there is a lot of play food plus some fun home-made felt food like cookies and lollipops (check out the tutorials) and a small table and chairs {IKEA}.
One of my favorite parts in the room is the fun and whimsical knobs we added to the top of the bead board.
The paintings you see below are works of art by my sweet girls! I love the character the paintings bring to the playroom.
Of course we can’t forget about the magnetic wall that we did, with the help of our brother-in-law. This is just a large piece of sheet metal. We glued it to the wall and then screwed it in to secure it. The girls have loved this wall and it is a great way to teach them their letters and numbers!
If you could choose any shape of vinyl to your walls what would you choose? I am anxious to know because the possibilities are endless. I really like polkadots for a girl’s room or how about anchors for a boy’s room? …So many options!
Wife to my Jr. High sweetheart, mother to three daughters. I have always loved being social and staying connected with other people who have similar interests to me. I started a blog back in 2010 and have been in the social networking scene since then. I love meeting new people and helping them feel confident, and see their own beauty.
