My Crazy Tiny Table RE-DO

I’ve had this little tiny side table forever and decided to give it a fun, crazy facelift for my Sweet Master Makeover.  It had little drawers in it but I took them out and made it into a little book table.  It was all white, I added a little color and fun!

Here are the sides of the table where I added fabric:

I first gave it a nice paint job.  I two-toned it with a green and light blue.  I then took some floral fabric I had lying around and I cut out some flowers and a bird.  I used modpodge to stick them onto the sides of the table.  I’m thinking I might do this more often!  Modpodge Applique is what I’ll call it!

I then did a little free-hand painting on the legs of this table.  I literally felt like I was in elementary again, just doodling!  I thought it turned out so fun!

Remember my Paint Sticks Projects??  Well, I thought paint sticks would give a nice little touch and some texture to the top of my table.  I first hit them all with a hammer to add a little wear and tear, then painted them white and gave them a light sanding.  I glued them on with Gorilla Glue.

Don’t you love the shelves??  I lined them with some chevron fabric that I had left over from my Bed Pillows.  I just brushed Modpodge onto the surface of the shelves and placed the fabric on top.

Hey, I'm Kami!

Welcome to the blog

Wife to my Jr. High sweetheart, mother to three daughters. I have always loved being social and staying connected with other people who have similar interests to me. I started a blog back in 2010 and have been in the social networking scene since then. I love meeting new people and helping them feel confident, and see their own beauty.
