FELT COOKIES!
Charli has lately been playing a lot with these felt chocolate chip cookies made by one of her aunts for her 1st birthday.  I thought it’d be fun to get her a pan and make her a few more cookies.  Sugar cookies!
 I bought the pan from WalMart for .97 cents!  I had tons of felt in my craft boxes, tons of beads, and a little batting.

 I simply cut 2 of each shape out of a light, cream colored felt with pinking shears.  For the frosting I just used colored felt and cut it out with normal scissors in a wavy-like way.  Then I sewed beads on for the sprinkles then glued the frosting part to the top of the cookie part.  After that I took a little batting and sandwiched it between the two pieces of felt and sewed around it so now the cookie was stuffed and fluffy!  {we all love fluffy sugar cookies, right?}
I thought it’d be fun to have the felt velcro to the pan so I glued the sharp velcro down to the pan with Gorilla Glue.  The cookie part needs no velcro because it basically acts like the soft velcro anyways!
 I’m not gonna lie, I’m a little hungry now!  Making these cookies was so much fun I might go make some real ones!

I think making felt cookies could be addicting.  Maybe I’ll make some for every holiday?  …Halloween, Christmas, Valentine cookies?!!

Hey, I'm Kami!

Welcome to the blog

Wife to my Jr. High sweetheart, mother to three daughters. I have always loved being social and staying connected with other people who have similar interests to me. I started a blog back in 2010 and have been in the social networking scene since then. I love meeting new people and helping them feel confident, and see their own beauty.
