Around my house…

With a billion things on my to do list in my house, I finally was able to accomplish a few…
In Olivia’s room, I decided to do a big picture above her crib.  Instead of paying for a 2×3 picture that I will probably be changing frequently, I decided to go the engineer/blueprint route.  I sent a picture in to a local printing shop called Ogden Blue, and the print cost me a total of $2.50!!  It’s a 2×3.  Now, the quality is not great, but that’s the point.  It gives you a vintage-type look, and I love it!  I then had them mount it to a foam board which cost me $18.  So this total project was $20.50!  I love this and will probably do it every year to keep the picture current!
I was also able to get her tissue balls hung back up, and even added her curtains!  It feels good to have some things done in her room, now I just need to finish the other wall!
Crib bedding, curtains, and rug – Pottery Barn (found discounted at DownEast)
Pink Damask Blanket – Minky Couture
Here is another new item in my home.  This darling shaped frame from Hollyhocks & Honeybees!  Love all her cute frames, you ought to stop by her darling blog!  And see the cute picture inside of it?  I love this picture of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints church prophet, President Thomas S. Monson.  I was able to get a free download of this candid picture HERE.
And finally, I added some cute pillows to my couch.  I’ve been searching forever.  I found them on Etsy at Motion52.  I bought the covers and found them to be very reasonable.  They are great quality and have a zipper for easy washing!

Hey, I'm Kami!

Welcome to the blog

Wife to my Jr. High sweetheart, mother to three daughters. I have always loved being social and staying connected with other people who have similar interests to me. I started a blog back in 2010 and have been in the social networking scene since then. I love meeting new people and helping them feel confident, and see their own beauty.
