REVIVE, REVAMP, & REUSE

Spring is right around the corner (fingers crossed), and I am starting my Spring cleaning a bit early for the sake of saving money on a new Spring Wardrobe.

I looked at the things in my closet that still fit good, but were a bit out-dated and thought, “hmm…how could I update that item??”
I didn’t take before and after pictures because I honestly didn’t think anything would turn out “blog worthy”, but I am super-happy with the final results, and will wear them a lot more now:

I bought this hoodie to wear after having Charli to hide my fat. Just a plain, white hoodie. It was pretty boxy, and too big now. I took in the sides, added a tie in the back, and embellished it with this cute flower that I made from plain, bloring, recycled shirts! I love it!

I think when it warms up I may shorten the sleeves.

This shirt is one of my favorites in that it is the perfect fit. The color is hard to wear, and it’s too plain to wear with an outfit. So I just added a little ruffle, and flower, and hopefully it will help me to wear it more!

I am really going to focus on reVivIng, rEvAmPinG, & reUsiNg the clothes in my closet so that when Spring FINALLY gets here, I will be ready!

Such a good idea to revamp existing clothes…especially since we’re on a tight budget. Now if only I were as creative as you are. Maybe I’ll just mail my clothes to you and you can spice them up for me! Good idea. 🙂ReplyCancel

I’m so jealous of your creativeness! You are amazing! If I saw that jacket I would’ve thought you bought it that way. Uuh-Maz-Ing!ReplyCancel

Hey, I'm Kami!

Welcome to the blog

Wife to my Jr. High sweetheart, mother to three daughters. I have always loved being social and staying connected with other people who have similar interests to me. I started a blog back in 2010 and have been in the social networking scene since then. I love meeting new people and helping them feel confident, and see their own beauty.
