Vanilla Pumpkin Steamer Recipe {with Protein}

This past weekend was such a relaxing one for me.  We went for a Fall drive, played outside, really enjoyed the beautiful outdoors that Utah has to offer.  All of that really got me in the mood for Fall and so today I am sharing with you my Vanilla Pumpkin Steamer recipe.  It only contains two main ingredients and guess what, it has protein in it!

This recipe will warm your soul, literally!  There are so many things I love about it.  It combines a few of my favorite things from Fall: pumpkin, hot chocolate, and something I am pretty passionate about – health.

I am a very health-concious eater and if you read about my 7-day meal plan and workout guide HERE then you will see what I mean.  When I have a snack or a meal one important thing I try to include is that it contains protein.  This Vanilla Pumpkin Steamer has 10 grams of protein in it which in my opinion, is reason to toast!

Speaking of toast, a slice of wheat or sour dough toast tastes excellent paired with this drink!  Here is the recipe:
Vanilla Pumpkin Steamer {with Protein}
yields 1 serving
  • 1 bottle Special K Vanilla Protein Shake
  • 2 T. Pumpkin Coffee Creamer (I use sugar-free)
  • Dash Nutmeg
  • Dash Pumpkin Spice
  • Dash of Cinnamon
  • Hot Chocolate Maker (optional)

Put all ingredients into hot chocolate maker and let mix and get warm.  Be sure to push the frother button so the drink comes out nice and frothy!  Serve with a side of toast.
I am sure you will love this recipe and will be relaxed and warm this Winter as you sip it!

    I used to have the Back to Basics Hot Cocoa machine. But it was recalled. It leaks lead into your drinks. You better stop using yours! Send it in for a $30 refund and stop poisoning yourself.ReplyCancel

Hey, I'm Kami!

Welcome to the blog

Wife to my Jr. High sweetheart, mother to three daughters. I have always loved being social and staying connected with other people who have similar interests to me. I started a blog back in 2010 and have been in the social networking scene since then. I love meeting new people and helping them feel confident, and see their own beauty.
