TWO of My Favorite Chocolate Dipped Pretzel Recipes

These are some of my favorite treats to make, I cannot believe I haven’t shared the recipe yet!  Last year I made these for my neighbor’s Christmas gifts and a lot of them texted me asking for the recipe.  These really are delicious!  And make sure to check out what I do with the leftover chocolate and pretzels!

Chocolate Dipped Peanut Butter Pretzels
1 bag Pretzels (square or regular is fine)
1 pkg Chocolate Almond Bark (I like it better than chocolate chips.  I think it tastes better, and it sets up a ton faster)
1 Cup Peanut Butter
1/4 Cup Butter (softened)
1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar (possibly more)
1/4 Cup Brown Sugar (possibly  more)

Start by mixing the butter and peanut butter together with a fork.  Add the sugars and mix but don’t over-mix.  You want the mixture to be dry enough that you can roll it into balls, not sticky and wet.  If you need to add more sugars, add a little at a time until it’s the right consistency.

Take a little dough, about 1/2 inch in diameter and roll into ball.  Sandwich it between two pretzels.  Do the whole batch and then place in a container and stick them in the freezer for 30-60 minutes to firm up before dipping in chocolate.

Take about 3 squares of Almond Bark at a time and melt in the microwave for 30 seconds in small bowl.  Stir until smooth.  Place in microwave for 10 second intervals until you can stir all the clumps out.  Dip the frozen pretzel bites into the chocolate then place onto wax paper to set up.  Keep in the refrigerator until serving, they are so much better cold!

Chocolate Cinnamon & Sugar Pretzels

You will have a lot of pretzels left over and chocolate bark as well.  If you want to continue dipping, melt some more chocolate and dip your pretzels in it.  After you dip them lay them out on wax paper and sprinkle a cinnamon and sugar mixture over-top of the pretzels before the chocolate sets up.  You will love these chocolate cinnamon & sugar pretzel bites!

Hey, I'm Kami!

Welcome to the blog

Wife to my Jr. High sweetheart, mother to three daughters. I have always loved being social and staying connected with other people who have similar interests to me. I started a blog back in 2010 and have been in the social networking scene since then. I love meeting new people and helping them feel confident, and see their own beauty.
